The scope of the project involved designing and developing an iOS mobile application for oncologists. To ensure the app ran smoothly, IaC was used to connect the app to a specific API that connects to the database of all physicians.

Datafication, Digitization, and the Metaverse

Throughout 2020 and 2021, many people found themselves working from home. This prompted the virtualization of offices and workplaces with the expansion of popular companies like Zoom and Skype, allowing individuals to create and collaborate from the comfort of their homes.

In the first ten weeks of lockdown, the US saw a 40% increase in renewable energy usage. As industries shut down worldwide, this led individuals to stay home, decreasing non-renewable energy usage and an eight percent reduction in emissions overall. 

This has led to the prediction that renewable energy resources will significantly expand in the next few years.

In 2020, the International Energy Agency (IEA) estimated that more than 40% of renewable energy was generated and consumed compared to the previous year. Trends suggest this growth will continue well past 2022. 

The cost of generating renewable energy fell as low as 7% in some areas, including onshore and offshore wind, solar, and tidal.
